Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents join your professional organization for the annual KSSA Day at KASB. KSSA will engage members and participants in conversations around the recent election results, build community conversations, and discuss with leaders about your personal leadership journey. As always, KSSA will finish the day with a fun motivational message from our guest speaker.
The full agenda will be released in August once all the presenters are secured. The Friday, November 11th session will run from 8:00 - 2:00. We have also invited our participants to join the KSSA Board of Directors for dinner Thursday evening, November 10th, at 6:00 PM.

Meeting All Kids’ Needs

Meeting All Kids' Needs is a pre-convention program offering a unique tour and experience to learn about local districts and their innovative projects or programs. Each attendee will be able to tour one district in the Wichita Metro area. Tours will depart from the Hyatt Regency hotel at 8:00 a.m. and return in the afternoon. We will have a short program afterward for attendees to share what they learned.

More details coming soon.

Winter School Law

Join the KASB attorneys and possible special guests for our Annual Winter School Law Seminar. With recent case law and legislation impacting schools, you may feel like you are navigating uncharted territory, but these sessions will provide the foundation you need to address many issues facing your districts.  The seminar will include six 50-minute sessions with two 15-minute breaks. Attorneys will be eligible for CLE credits pending approval. A special luncheon is scheduled for members of the Kansas School Attorneys Association to allow for networking with other school attorneys across the state. Sign up for Winter School Law
