A) Our testimony is determined by the legislative positions adopted each year by our members. Our State and Federal positions are published on our website here.

A) The KASB legal staff provides legal trainings on a wide range of topics in a variety of settings. From in depth seminars and practicums to staff in-services and customized group trainings, both in person and virtually, we can meet your legal training needs wherever you are. Staying current and compliant on legal matters is vital to good governance. You can find more information on legal trainings here.

A) As a legal team supporting public schools and community and technical colleges in Kansas, we specialize in all things education law, including employment issues, student discipline, negotiations, and other legal matters impacting schools. For more detailed information regarding available legal support, please visit the Legal Services page.

A) As part of LAF dues, a KASB attorney is available by phone for questions and consultation with LAF members on the second Monday of the month from 5 pm – 10 pm. If your board needs assistance on a different day or time, don't hesitate to contact one of the KASB attorneys to determine availability.

A) KASB Season Pass is the best way for you and your board to gain year-long access to most of our events and Online content for a low fee of $1,750 per year. One full-day seminar at KASB typically costs $150 per attendee. The Season Pass keeps our events affordable and gives access to your entire board and leadership team. Last year, 83% of paid events at KASB were Season Pass eligible! Download more information here.

​​​​​​A) KASB+ is our online content center which provides members a one-stop shop to take online courses, access helpful resources, explore data and trends, and learn more about KASB services. Whereas the Member Portal allows members to register and pay for courses and events, complete and verify annual survey data, and maintain district user and account information.
