Student/Staff Handbook Review Service Student and staff handbooks serve as a vital communication link in the district. They should clearly describe the procedures and practices board policy outlines in a broad fashion. With proper policy backing, they have the same effect as policy. KASB staff reviews district handbooks and offers suggestions to ensure the handbooks and policy are complementary, and the handbooks themselves are comprehensive and clear. KASB staff works with district administrators in the process so that the district perspective is clearly represented.
